Find sound effects

You may not be sure which format to save your video as or you may get an «invalid file format» error message when you’re uploading. Audio files can only be uploaded as extra languages for your video. If you’re in the YouTube Partner Program, you can monetize videos with music and sound effects from the Audio Library. Keep in mind that if your video uses music with a Creative Commons license, the attribution info is still required in your video’s description. If you’re using a track with a Creative Commons license, you must credit the artist in your video’s description.

Use different accounts on your Smart TV or game console

Guest mode lets others use YouTube on your TV or game console while signed out. For example, if signing in with your phone doesn’t work, try signing in with your remote. You can also connect your device to your smart TV and use your phone or tablet as a remote. Add another Google Account on your smart TV or game console

YouTube doesn’t have a tool to upload audio files, but you can try other video editing software. You can’t upload audio files to create a YouTube video. If you’re 18 or older, your default video privacy setting is set to public. These checks will not restrict your video’s visibility, but your video may be removed later if it violates our policies.

Likeness detection does a one-time scan of your video for enrolled creators’ faces that may have been altered or AI-generated. Checks can take some time, but they run in the background, so you can return to the process later. Checks help you fix issues before your video is published. Use the Checks page to screen your video for copyright issues. Your video must be 25 seconds or longer to add an end screen.
